Megs LeVesseur, a Columbus-based ceramic artist, brings an exuberant spirit to her work, infusing every piece with joy and playfulness. Her art is an ode to the beauty woven into life's everyday moments, and this passion is brilliantly expressed through her vibrant, one-of-a-kind ceramic creations.

Captivated by intricate line work and vibrant colors, Megs' whimsical creations reflect her boundless enthusiasm for the medium. Her ceramic collections, crafted with intention using traditional hand-building techniques, terra sigillata, and multiple glaze layers, are a fusion of beauty and practicality.

Themes of geometry and organic patterns in nature inspire Megs, and her pieces incorporate bouncing lines, low relief, and pastel hues. The result is a captivating array of handcrafted goods that elevate the ordinary with an air of elegance.

Megs LeVesseur holds a BFA with a concentration in Ceramics and sculpture from the Columbus College of Art and Design. She further enriched her craft through four years of experience as a studio technician in the Ceramics Department at Columbus College of Art and Design, where she honed her skills and deepened her understanding of the medium.

Currently, Megs' studio is nestled in the heart of the Franklinton Arts District at Chromedge Studios, where she continues to channel her creativity and passion into her artistic practice. It's here that she fosters a sense of community, mentoring young artists and collaborating with fellow creatives to build a supportive network within the arts.

In Megs' ceramics, you'll find a celebration of life's simple pleasures and an invitation to rediscover the joy in everyday moments. Her work is a testament to the playfulness she ardently seeks to inspire in others, all encapsulated within the enduring embrace of ceramic artistry.
