Inspired by intricate line work and soft color, Megs handcrafts whimsical one of a kind ceramic pieces from her studio in Columbus, Ohio. For the past few years Megs has been producing and developing the Seaside and Sunsets Collection which uses traditional hand-building techniques, Terra Sigillata, and multiple glaze layers, each piece is handcrafted for beauty and function.

By being interested in the small snip bits of beauty found in everyday life, Megs finds that handmade pottery of a joyous nature reflexes those everyday rituals of elegance. The Seaside and Sunsets Collection of handmade pottery is inspired by vintage fabric, mid century dishes, and the playfulness of street art; reminiscent of the summer sky references landscapes and geometric patterns in nature. By incorporating bouncing lines, low relief, and pastel hues juxtaposed with volumetric forms Megs able to create evocative and visually upbeat unique handmade goods.

Megs earned her BFA with a focus in Ceramics and sculpture from Columbus College of Art & Design as well as attending short-term residencies and workshops at Penland School of Crafts.
